Duties & Responsibilitise

Engineer Optical Fiber Network - (2 Nos)


Develop and maintain records and documentations of all existing fiber optical network. Design the best fiber route for Optical Fiber Network expansions projects.

Duties & Responsibilitise

  • Document all existing inside and outside valley fiber optic networks. Maintain well updated online record of the same.
  • Record all data, materials, design paths, connection types, splice and termination points and other specifications used in the design and the construction of the fiber optic network.
  • Prepare maps and diagrams for network and capital planning and budgeting. Estimate material, installation and labor cost for the budgetary analysis.
  • Involve in the site surveys. Analyze the current Optical Fiber Network set up and provide assistance to Engineers in planning and developing fiber optic route designs.
  • Develop long term and short term plans for the potential fiber optics routes to expand the existing network.
  • Involve in the new installation decisions, testing, trouble shooting and network equipment installation process.
  • Work in close coordination with the engineers, marketing executives in providing the best solution that fit individual customer needs and bandwidth requirements.
  • Coordinate for obtaining the permits, and other documentations for the expansion of the service in new areas.


  • Qualification: B.E – Electrical / Electronics & Communication / B.Tech or Equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in design, planning and documentation of fiber optical network systems


  • In-depth knowledge of fiber optic components and systems and installation processes
  • Good geographic knowledge of Nepal
  • Ability to use online mapping services like google maps
  • Experience with CAD system is a definite plus
  • Experience in Cable TV network design or Internet Network is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with the electrical power system
  • Must have own motorbike with a valid driving license.

  • Document financial transactions by analyzing documents and raising vouchers along the knowledge of taxation systems
  • Preparation of Vouchers and entry into the system while complying with government policy by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
  • Handle general account queries, check invoices for inaccuracies and budgeting, Finance Planning, Handling Tax matters, annual budget preparation
